Just replaced the timing chain and now the head gasket is leaking oil. The whole length of the rear of the engine is wet with oil below the head. Wish it would have done that before! What gaskets will I need in addition to a head gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, water pump O-ring and injector grommets and O-rings? And what is your recommendation on replacing head bolts?

It's also leaking oil where the engine and tranny bolt together, I'm assuming it's just coming down from the head and finding it's way out down there, . But I suppose it could be the rear main oil seal. How often do they fail? Car is a '99 automatic with 122,000 miles.

So you're sure it's not the valve cover gasket or timing chain tensioner O-ring?

If it is the head geasket which is very rare, you should be able to leave the injectors on without replacing their grommets and O-rings. You should include Toyota's revised intake manifold orange gasket # 17171-22060. I would reuse original head bolts.

Fel-Pro cylinder head gasket # # 26158PT1.

Fel-Pro exhaust manifold gasket # MS93909.

Fel-Pro Water pump gasket (O-ring) # 35672.

Valve cover gasket- $9.62 and up.

Cylinder head bolts- Set of 10 for $33.99 and up.
