driving my commute aggressively i got 30mpg.
Okay, I'm up to two tanks from my local gas station. I got 39.2 and 39.1 MPG respectively. This is with my normal commute of around 30 miles per day on a two lane state highway at 55-60 MPH and one stop sign between work and the garage. There is some additional driving at night and on the weekends.
I was very careful the first tank, not so much on the second. I'll be doing some interstate driving the first week of July. At 70 MPH I expect to hurt my fuel economy some.
I have to say that I'm very impressed so far. If this keeps up I'll save almost $400 per year over the Saturn Ion I had before.
