Opitma Vs Die Hard

I am in the market for a new battery and was wondering if you could tell me if an Optima would be worth the extra money over a Die Hard Gold Battery? Or would I be fine getting a battery at Wal-Mart?

I believe the stock battery for my car is on it's way out.

I probally should mention that I have a 775w amp pushing 2 12" subs.

Personally I would go with a Wal*Mart over the DieHard one - every DieHard battery I've owned over the years has given up before its warranty period (pro-rated replacement).

Optima is definitely worth the extra money if you are willing to spend it. Especially with power hungry audio setups - the extra reserve capacity and robustness of the Optima battery has proven itself many times. Biggest thing would be the CCA rating, reserve capacity, and warranty. I believe that once you start to match up these ratings - the price gap between the Optima and your traditional battery will quite a bit less.

When you buy a battery - you get what you pay for. Buy the best and pay the most.

Make sure you save the receipt and use the warranty, should it not last as long as it is supposed to.

I know that I will get what I pay for, but my question is will I get "more" from the optima or will the Die Hard for less give me just as much. Both of these batteries are nice batteries.
