Buying Corolla On A Special Or Loss Leader

New member
In the past I would buy a new base model Toyota. That was the best way to go in terms of cost. Ads for low priced specials are no longer in newspapers and dealer web sites. Where I live anyway, Jacksonville, FL

In cities not to far away, I do see some price competition. Like a new CE w/auto trans for $15000. Anyone seeing better prices around the country? I paid $11000 for my 2002 Toyota, about $12000, out the door.

A car here in FL, would be over $17000, if I bought the CE for $15K....ouch that hurts. Anyone have any better suggestion?
