Would anyone be able to shed some light onto my problem?
I have an 02 1.4 t2 5speed manual corolla and I think my diff has failed spectacularly! Coming out a junction i went to move off and all i felt was a shunt then what felt like a flat tyre, the cars steering would fight against me and there was a bounce comming from the inside wheel! The car has 31000 miles on the clock and full s/h and being a Toyota this was one of my last worries! What I'm wondering is has this happened to anyone else and if so what were your next moves? I don't know if I will need a new gearbox too because of metal fragments?
