I have been chasing around some vacuum leaks, mostly in various larger diameter vac hoses that are old and expanding at the orifice.. nailed a couple.. here's one I've not been able to identify the function of.. I sprayed a small amount of TB cleaner at the base of this thing on the valve cover, and it sucked in through the grommet, which I expect shouldn't happen.. PCV grommet has been replaced and that side is nice and sealed.. What is this hose, and what does it do? I think I need to replace the grommet for it on the cover.. Thanks!
