(I didn't post this in the TSB/Recall forum since it is more of a general nature overall.)

I just got the ECM replaced under the recall for my '05 S, and either I'm suffering from the worst case of placebo effect EVER or my car is running almost like it did when I got it 6 years ago!

I'm at 114,200 miles, so the car has been driven around, but I cannot believe the immediate difference in overall power, better idle, and smoothness. The advisor asked if I had noticed any issues with shifting, which I hadn't noticed, but now it just 'feels' smoother shifting too.

I gave it an oil change & new wiper blades today too, but I was wondering if anyone else had noticed any changes (positive or otherwise) after their repairs.

As a side note, my dealer quoted 3 hours for the wait time and got the repair done in 90 minutes. Was a very happy boy indeed.
