2001 Corolla Sways At High Speeds

by Busbig12, January 1, 2011

I recently crashed my 2001 corolla le

my right front rim bent my, control arm. and my tie rod end inner and outer

all were replaced including the tire also and the right sway bar link

it doesnt seem my right strut got messed up

i got an alignment done after all parts were replaced

it drives straight but at high speeds such as goin 60-65mph it bounces and sways alot

my sway bar seems ok

what could it be?

I suspect a suspension problem (maybe a strut?). Also you could have too much toe out on the wheels. who did the alignment? did you get a full report for the alignment showing before and after adjustments. If its not alignment then it may be aerodynamic issues.

i got a full report and it was done with the sensors on every wheel

i am suspecting my struts,

also every time i brake than accelerate i hear something clamping loud
