Check Engine Light, 2005 Xrs

The check engine light on my 2005 XRS with 76,000 miles came on about a month ago. I've noticed no effects at all when driving, idling, starting, etc. Has anyone else experienced this? This is my 1st corolla so I'm just looking for some input. Thanks.

Would have to pull the code for that CEL - as at this point, could be just about anything. If you don't have access to a OBD-II CAN compliant scanner, some autoparts retailers will be able to scan them for you at no charge.
