Yes - 2003 Corolla is OBD-II compliant, ISO protocol. You would need an OBD-II reader that is compatible to the protocol to be able to read / clear codes off the ECM. Most of the current OBD-II readers are both CAN and ISO compliant - many also cover PWM, VPW, and other SAE protocols.
