Removing Factory Ground Effects 2006 Corella S

By klxdrt, December 11, 2009

Hi,

Please point me in the right direction to or tell me how to remove Factory Ground Effects from my 2006 Corella S.

Thanks,

HW

The side rocker panels are held in with clips under the body seam. If you look under the panels, you'll see sort of an ouitline of the retaining clips through the plastic. Just need to use a screw driver or similar (tape the end to protect from scratching the panel), and pry on the panel. It will pop off - there are about 7-8 clips on each side, roughly evenly spaced along the length of the rocker panel.

The front lip spoilers are head in with a screw in the rear of the lip, and 4 push clips. Look on the interior of the lip and you'll see those clips. Depress the center of the clup and pull upward to release the clips. That will pull free of the front bumper. The rears would be almost exactly the same, but have one more clip on each side (total of 5 clips + 1 screw on each lip).

fishexpo101,

Thanks for the quick reply & info.
