1998 Corolla Dashboard Cluster

Guest reversedacurse25

I've got a 1998 Toyota Corolla CE with a faulty dash cluster. I'm currently in the market for another, and just need to know something. What kind of cluster fits on a 1998 Corolla with a PRODUCTION DATE of October 1997? I found this one on E-Bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Coro...sQ5fAccessories

This one is identical to the one in my car, however this is from a 98-99 Corolla VE. Apparently the 98-2001 clusters are all the same, but I believe those display tachometers, mine does not. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hello and Welcome to the forums.

You should be able to use any 1998-2000 Corolla cluster in the vehicle, both with and without the tachometer - the tach is available for your model year in various trim levels. Note that mileage will be different, unless you pull your speedometer from your existing cluster (mileage stays with the gauge).

The 2001-2002 are slightly different than the earlier Corollas - not a drop in replacement, as some of the indicators have moved around.
