how many ft lbs do the head bolts need to be torqued down to?
THey should be done a couple of passes until you hit 22 ftlbs. Remember that they (the bolts - should be new, never reuse the old ones) have to be stretched at the end for strength - you have to tighten them an additional 90 degrees turn, then another 90 degrees. Pick up a factory service manual for more clarification - but all A series engines are the same way.
