2008 New Corolla

Hi guys...I'm new from Malaysia...At my home we call it Toyota Corolla Altis...similar to your CE, XRS, etc..it has been 6 years since it appeared at our shore and it has gone through 3 facelifts. Since the introduction of Asian Free Trade Agreement (AFTA)...we have been getting Corollas produced by Thailand which in turn export it to Malaysia, Phillipines, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Singapore, China and other asian countries.

Recently, a new Corolla made its way to China and definitely it is a New Model to the Corolla range...here some pics and review about the engine & spec...

Several good pictures here of what could very well resemble our next Corolla.

Is the feeling that this is pretty close to the North American version?

I just hope they have a model similar to the Matrix, and I keep wanting to know if the automatic option will be a CVT, (hoping not, I like the 4 speed auto)
