When did this logo first appear? I notice that old Toyotas don't have it. They just say "Toyota" in bold letters. I would think that a lot of research went into this logo. Does anyone know any details of this.
Have you noticed that Mazda changed its logo? I like the new one, which suggests a bird in flight.
As for the red background, I have not seen it.
Looks just like the ones that a guy in Canada was selling a year ago or so - I think it was supershyguy or one of the ones on cthree racing. They took OEM blank emblems and filled it will just about any color you wanted - they also did stuff for others as well (Lexus, Subaru, Acura, etc.)
I've had a blue one on my 03 Corolla S for bout 2 years now. I also am painting the "S" the same colour of blue. I have removed all other badges and stickers.

How did the removal of the OEM emblems go? Installation of new ones?
You were happy with your purchase? They look proffessional?
Fantastic product ! Removal was difficult. I heated it with a hair dryer and got some strong nylon line under it and PUUUUUULLLLLLED.
All the other writing and labels are relatively easy.
I would not mind purchasing a VVTI logo for my 02 Toyota Corolla Ce Plus
I think it would be so different
