How Many Leds Do You See?

By NILLINOIS, September 20, 2006

To keep it a managable number.

I see 10, on computer, keyboard, monitor, cell, cordless phone, router, speakers, etc.

On my desk or in the LAN room default_biggrin

On my desk - LCD, workstation, laptop, switch, tape drive, two AC bricks, two external drives, phone, cell, speakers, UPS - TOTAL: 23 (most are green, then blue, then amber, then red).

LAN room - too many to count - but makes for a nice light show and pattern when you query the slabs (normally set to dark mode).

LCD screen, speaker volume, 6 on the router, one on the printer, one on the computer (but it's turned on its side so I don't usually see it), 2 on the phone. Bricks are mostly hidden. One on the printer network box if I turn my head. More on the router if others are plugged in. Total - 8 right in front of me, 14 if I turn my head.

LCD screen on/off button (1), speakers (2), DSL modem (3), router six total, three or 4 illuminated at any time, so I'll say (4), printer (1). Total of 15.

Max

Three at the moment.

not counting LED readouts, like the clock or PC temp display.

monitor power lights x3 monitors, 3 per keyboard x2 keyboards, optical mice x2, PC lights (no bling, just status led's) about 10, switch has about...12.

3+6+2+10+12=33 for just the PC stuff, tv, speakers, stereo, 36 total unless i have my led flashlight (6) or led drop light (30). LED's are good default_smile

I think you have to be specific, such as - right now, in a typical day, in a week, month, on your job, etc. I wonder what (if any) the significance is??
