2002 Toyota Corolla door speakers

I have a 2002 Toyota Corolla, and recently bought a pair of Kenwood 5.25" speakers in hope that I could replace my stock speakers.

I took the door panels off no problem, but then saw where the speaker was. There is an adapter peice that is riveted in with 5 plastic rivets, and I cant seem to get the peice off.

Anyone have any advice or tips for me?

after a couple of hours work, I was able to successfully do it, it wont take but 30 minutes for someone else to do, it just took long because I didnt exactly know what do to at first.

Nevertheless, I figured it out.
