Hello,
My door ajar light won't shut off and it's draining my battery. Where is the fuse or relay located and is it specific to the door ajar or a combination of items in the console? I don't want to take the console completely off if I don't have to in order to unplug the bulb.

Are you referring to the orange/red indicator light on the gauges?
What year is your 'Rolla?
The Corolla is a 1992 four door coupe and the indicator light is on the left side of the console.
Ok I have a '93 myself so I don't have firsthand knowledge of your vehicle.
However it's highly likely that the fuse in that circuit affects more than just the door ajar light. In my car there's a covered fuse box under the hood with the fuse functions labeled on the lid. Also there's another fuse box located under the kick panel on the driver's side by your feet.
It sounds like you have a short in the wiring that's grounding the door ajar light circuit and bypAssing the switch in the door. Or else a door switch might have failed.
