  1. HI Fishexpo, Yes, I have cleared CEL and drove normally couple days, almost 80-100 miles and P0446 popped back. I will double check throttlebody and airbox area to make sure all hoses are correct. Might it's time to do smoke test.
  2. It took little longer to update the forum but still I have P0446 code on car. I have changed EVAP canister, two hose and checked every thing near gas tank. At this point, I am ****uming nothing wrong near gas tank. I guessing now that some problem under hood. Can some one guide me to look under hood and resolve the issue. Any picture under hood or video for 1999 corolla will help. Just for you guy weeks before CEL came, I did replace valve cover gasket because of burning engine oil
  3. Fishexpo101. Thanks for quick response. Can you give me the location of 'Vacuum Switching Valve', This is located under hood or near gas tank. I couldn't find links posted by you, can you please send me the link also. Thank you,
  4. Check Engine light came and the code is: P0446 "EVAP Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction" I am planning to replace Vacuum Switching Valve on my 1999 Corolla. My Rolla has 150K I am looking for any suggestion, video OR instruction to replace Vacuum Switching Valve on my 1999 Corolla. Given link below for part, please suggest, which is the right part: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JW1WBSM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=corolland-20 https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-911-601-Toyota-Vacuum-Switching/dp/B0042OX8VS?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=corolland-20 Thank you.

  6. Thanks to both of you (Fishexpo and Dom), Going to call Costco to find if battery was disconnected during tire change. Will take all suggestions to drive another couple hundred miles with different drive cycles. Dom, thanks for the link; great article on OBD Readiness Monitors
  7. Dom, Thanks for quick response. My 1999 corolla runs like brand new with 140 K miles This car belongs to my friend. Car has only 45K miles and it's 2010 model. I am sure it's original oxygen sensor. He said nothing as been disconnected. Recently he has replaced all four tires.
  8. My corolla has 45K miles and on Sat it failed an emission. Here are the emissions failed results; any ideas to resolve the issue will help. The first time it failed and I was been told by dealer to drive on highway above 65m/hr for 20 min and it should resolve the issue; but it didn't help and my emission failed second time. CATALYTIC CONVERTOR EFF NOT READY OXYGEN SENSOR NOT READY. Any suggestion is appreciated.
  9. Yesterday, I changed spark plus on my 1999 Corolla (132K) and I found oil on two spark plugs on passenger side. I was going this forum; but did not get the instructions, what to check and what to replace, I hope you guys to help me; what will be process to check and to be done. I will appreciate if there is any linked video. Again thanks guys for all your help.
  10. Currently the car has Valvoline MAX LIFE 75000 DEX/MERC ATF and I do have stop and go driving but no towing. I have always drained and refilled with Valvoline MAX LIFE 75000 DEX/MERC ATF after every 40K. I do see the ATF is still pinkish and no burning smell. The car has 130K; but I have never dropped the pan and changed the ATF filter. The question came because I got Valvoline MAX LIFE FULL SYNTHETIC and I wanted to know can I mix. But I am sure that I can drain and refill with current Valvoline MAX LIFE 75000 DEX/MERC ATF with Valvoline MAX LIFE FULL SYNTHETIC . I will have WIX filter by tomorrow and planning to drop pan and clean the magnet; even going to replace the filter. As, I am not unsure about the flush; I will stick to drain and refill.
  11. Thanks Dom. Good to know and nice instructions. Thank you.
  12. Thanks Dom. If I flush ATF through cooler line and drop pan to clean and change filter; then how much ATF should I have handy to pour back?
  13. Thanks for the quick response FISHEXPO101. I will just drain and refill. The car has 132K miles and I guess it's time to change filter. Time to drop pan and clean / replace filter. Any suggestions on trans filter? I am thinking to go WIX 58605 Automatic Transmission Filter Kit https://www.amazon.com/WIX-58605-Automatic-Transmission-Filter/dp/B000C9TD8O/ref=au_pf_ss_2?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=corolland-20&Make=Toyota%7C76&Model=Corolla%7C1013&Year=1999%7C1999&carId=001&n=15684181&s=automotive
  14. Fisxexpo101. Thanks for your suggestion. What would be your suggestion on drain and refill with synthetic ATF.
