I was wondering if there is a way to hook up a RS 3000 VIP module from a '98 Corolla to a '02 Corolla. My '02 Corolla is a LE which does not have keyless entry, no security system, or airbags in the seat.
I have taken the seats from my '98 Corolla and put them in my '02. I also want to hook up my RS 3000 VIP module into the '02 model. In my '98 there is a set of wiring encase in yellow. The '02 does not have these wires under the seat. There are only 2 wires that are visable under the '02 were a red and a white wire. Does anyone know if there is a way that I could wire the yellow wiring into the stock harness in the '02 so that way I could use the RS 3000 VIP module in my 2002. That way I'll have keyless remote, and security system. If anyone can help me that would be awesome.
