2009 Under Hood Insulator

I want a under Hood Insulator for my Japanese made 09 corolla,,, i see the parts fich shows a part # and price for a insulator for an American made hood, but nothing for a Japanese hood.....why?

are the undersides of the hood different on a Japanese made corolla as opposed to an American made corolla ?

any help would be appreciated

I could see some electricals being different between the two models, but body panel wise, the two would be identical. Internal bracing should be identical - you might even have the holes pre-punched for the clips to hold onto the insulator. I've seen Corollas with and without the insulator - and they both did pretty well. One didn't seem to have more or less paint fading or damage compared to the other. Most of the time, the reason they leave the insulator off boils down to costs.
