I recently signed up for this forum, and reasoned it was time to introduce myself.
My name is Clark, I just celebrated my thirteenth wedding anniversary to the most wonderful woman in the world, I have three sons ages 11 and 9 (yes, 9 year old twins), and I live in bucolic Wyocena, WI.
About three weeks ago I purchased a 1998 Corolla CE 5 speed with 116K miles.
I can already tell I am going to love this car. I "upgraded" from a 1992 Tercel that I had driven for the previous 2 years. I really liked that car, but it was burning a quart of oil per tank, and I needed to get something more reliable for my 30 mile-one-way commute.
Having just looked around here, I'm glad to see you all are helpful answering questions. Already I have found useful information regarding things I would like to do to the car (Drivers door inside latch, belt trim under the windows - seem to be pretty common Corolla issues, huh?) I hope that, in time, I will be able to contribute in a meaningful way to the forum as well.
