We've updated the our reliability stats for the Corolla to include owner experiences through June 30, 2012.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2011: no repairs reported, 15 cars

2010: 7

2009: 25

2008: 37, very small sample size

2007: 28, small sample size

2006: 14

2005: 45

2004: 17, small sample size

2003: 32

2002: 24, small sample size

2001: 65, small sample size

2000: 113, very small sample size

1999: 48, small sample size

1998: 66, small sample size

1996: 71, very small sample size

1995: 91, very small sample size

The 1995 is about average and the 2000 is worse than average--possibly because of small sample sizes--while the others are all better than average, even much better.

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds," to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop.

2010: 92, < 1

2009: 89, < 1

2005: 63, 3

2003: 80, < 1

We'll have further updates in November and February. We'd love to provide more precise stats and cover more model years--just a matter of getting more owners involved.

Very sorry to hear about this. Can you contact me through the site (contact link at the bottom of any page of truedelta.com) so I can make sure we've sorted this out?

As a subscriber to TrueDelta, I can honestly say I've received no spam, and have yet to be asked for any fee in connection with it. The survey is simple, and I'm glad to take part, as my Corolla is the first I've owned. I like it so well that when I need a new car, I'll have a look at the Corolla again. I view the information provided by TrueDelta and others like it as important and necessary to car owners and shoppers.

And you're making money on this project? Do we allow advertising here?
Really Do we allow advertising here

Not that I'm aware of - everything has to go through the super admin of the site. The reliability survey is more a community benefit than advertising a product or service - had the blessing of the admin from the beginning.

So, how have these cars been doing lately?

Our reliability stats for the Corolla now include owner experiences through March 31, 2015. (Others are nearly a year behind.)

In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year ("low" is best):

2014 Corolla: 6, low

2013 Corolla: 0, low, small sample size

2011 Corolla: 0, low, small sample size

2010 Corolla: 27, low

2009 Corolla: 24, low

2008 Corolla: 54, moderate, small sample size

2007 Corolla: 28, low, small sample size

2006 Corolla: 20, low

2005 Corolla: 30, low

2004 Corolla: 73, low, small sample size

2003 Corolla: 63, low

2002 Corolla: 53, low, very small sample size

2001 Corolla: 64, low, small sample size

2000 Corolla: 62, low, very small sample size

Plus, the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:

2010 Corolla: 85, 2

2009 Corolla: 76, < 1

2005 Corolla: 72, 4

2003 Corolla: 61, 4

No stat for a model year? Then we very much need more participants for it. Same for those with small sample size notes. Next updates in August and November.

If a model year isn't listed, or its sample size is small, then we especially need more owners involved.
