Sorry to bring this up after reading there is a thread on this already but I am a new member. Just bought my 2007 Corolla S yesterday and noticed the DTL :-( Is it any different for a 2007 to disable.

Hard to say right now for the new models - unless the dealership has a TSB alreay in place to disable the DRLs. I would wait for a little while as see if they release one first. Otherwise, you would have to "experiement" to see if you can disable it. If you fry anything in the process - might be an uphill battle for you in getting it covered under warranty.
