I waxed my '05 Corolla LE a few days ago, but I didn't do the headlight or taillight lenses. Is it necessary to wax these also? Will waxing them protect the lense plastic from UV damage or is there really any added benefit at all? Thanks for the advice.

I wax mine with the rest of the car. It's worked so far, but there are prodcuts (like Meguiar's Plast-X) made just for headlights and taillights.
Hey, i usually wax my headlights havn't waxed tailights but i do recommend waxing your headlights. I find that it makes the lense more clearer and it removes any watermarks making the headlight look brand new
I wax mine to get more of a glossy shine off them plus it makes them easier to clean the bugs off them too.
