  1. The last time I filled up was on 05/06/07. I drove 358.0 miles using 10.712 gallons for an average of 33.4 miles per gallon. Over the last 2 years, 10 months and 16 days I've averaged 31.5 MPG. I drove 14,569.7 miles since 06/21/04 and used 463.083 gallons while paying an average price of $2.509 per gallon with a standard deviation of $0.36. Over the last 2 years, 10 months and 16 days I've also paid $1,162.27 for gas.

  3. Brendon, you're from Framingham, MA? I live like 20 minutes from there.
  4. Typically I'll fill up every 4 to 5 weeks.
  5. So you did 13,207.1 miles in one year? That means you do about 36 miles a day? No, your missing the quantity in the equation: (13,207.1 miles / 895 days). 13,207.1 miles in 895 days, or about 14.8 miles per day. Ok - I thought you only had the car for a year and the 13,207.1 was a years total miles. So if you have had it for 895 days, that means about 895/365=2 years, 5 months, 15 days? Yeah, plus the current tank of gas I am on which is still going. I have 170.8 miles on the tank and last filled up on 12/03/06. So 13,207.1 miles (895 days of recorded driving) + 170.8 miles (current tank, 12/03/06 to 12/20/06 and still going) = 13,377.9 miles through. 895 days + 17 (the difference between 12/03/06 to 12/20/06) or 912 days. To be more accurate on the calculation: (160,000 miles - 143,522 miles) / (13,377.9 miles / 912 days) = approximately 1,123 days or 3 years and 27 days. My Odometer reading is 143,522 miles (just went outside and checked) so that means I've been driving the car since it had an odometer reading of 130,144 miles on it. Therefore, my dad put 130,144 miles on the car from 1993 to 2004 before he gave it to me, and I have put 13,377.9 miles on the car from when he gave it to me in 2004 to today.

  7. I have about 143,400 miles on my 7A-FE, 13,207.1 of those miles were mine and the rest were my dads. It would take me approximately 3 years and 29 days to reach 160,000 miles given my current average miles per day. (160,000 miles - 143,400 miles) / (13,207.1 miles / 895 days) = Approximately 1,125 days or 3 years 29 days Friday, January 15, 2010
  8. Gallons used: 9.688 Miles driven: 325.1 Miles per gallon: 33.6 Nice!
  9. Gallons used: 10.520 Miles driven: 358 Miles per gallon: 34 Nice!
  10. Okay, found out the bulb was loose and wasn't coming in contact with the metal plates. Also my emergency brake light came on and wouldn't turn off while driving. The emergency brake was definitely pressed all the way down because I did not feel like something was holding me back while driving. I checked the brake fluid and it was below the "MIN" mark. My dad picked up some fluid and we filled up the reservoir. I am going to check the fluid more frequently now in case there is a leak. The light will come back on as well if the fluid is low. Filling the fluid fixed the “brake light staying on” problem.
  11. Where can I buy the bulb for the interior dome light for a 1993 Geo Prizm LSi 5 Speed Manual?
  12. Not bad at all. Sure you weren't running downhill Actually I was climbing a couple hills.
