My cd player in my toyota corolla appears as if it is on. I can hear no sound, my speakers (factory speakers) are not blown and it's not just the cd player, the radio doesn't work as well. Does anyone have any idea on what it means? or how I can fix it? it's so strange and it's not on mute or pause. Please help:)
In reply to your question. You may want to see if your antenna is plugged into the back of your deck. It's a place to start.
All I can say is check the connections from the head unit to the speakers. Seems like if the speakers were getting any power at all, at least one of them would function. If everything is connected right then it's gotta be a defective head unit. Sorry I can't be specific on the wiring for your vehicle.
