2003 Corolla S - Fog Light Wiring Problem

By m4p, January 16, 2017

Hey guys,

I have a 2003 Corolla S that has factory fog lights. One of the fog lights isn't working so I bought a new bulb, thinking that's all it was. It takes an H3 bulb The new bulb didn't work because a piece of the wiring was broken. From first look, it seems the part is an H3 pigtail.

However, when I tried to plug an H3 light bulb into the part I have, the spade connector on the H3 bulb was just a bit too wide to fit into the part.

I am posting a couple of pics of the piece and was wondering if anyone knows exactly what this piece is, and do you think I'd be able to get it at a parts store or on line?

I know I'll probably just have to take it into a shop, but thought I'd check here first.

Thanks!
