1998 Corolla Eating Front Hubs...why?

By NILLINOIS, August 17, 2013

The driver side hubs are only lasting a year. Cant understand why..alignment is fine. I put on a new half shaft and junkyard spindle and have gone through 2 spindles so far. Maybe i missed a washer

between the half shaft end and spindle, but there's nothing between the half shaft and spindle according to the blow out diagrams..anyone have a clue why this is happening?

Proper torque is very important, quality brand is second, even the best bearing will fail if the CV nut is torqued incorrectly.

Have your wench checked for calibration, or buy a new quality wrench.

EDIT: the other question is... What device are you using to press the bearing on?
