Serpentine Belt Tensioner.

When mine did this (Gen 9), dealer replaced tensioner on warranty.

Do not believe the part can be lubricated after manufacture. Lube escaping was described by dealer tech as indicating part has failed.

Nope - don't need to lube anything there. Hard to tell from that pic, but it looks like the little "shock" is leaking oil out. That will definitely lead to some problems with the tensioner rattling on you and causing more headaches down the road. I don't think they sell just the little shock, have to buy the whole assembly.

Try cleaning that up, just to see where that oil is coming from. There is a good chance that is coming from the timing chain tensioner right next to it - as you can see the oil weeping around the side from the leaky o-ring there.

Just to clarify, that picture is mine and the shiny stuff was just some gunk.
