Mods To Protect Ac Condenser?

Has anyone done any mods to the grill to give more protection to the condenser? The condenser in my 2003 has a lot of hits from stones. Especially in the lower part exposed to the lower air inlet. AC still works but the condenser needs more protection. I'm thinking mesh wire or tight chicken wire. Anyone done anything similar? If so how?

Edit: LOL, after some googling, I discovered that Toyota issued TSB for this but only for 05-06 model.

I'll look into purchasing that part 53112-12190, but not sure if it fits 03.

Change of plans. Last weekend I put together a screen grill protector for my Prius based on instructions on Priuschat forum. The material is $2 36x6 galvanized steel gutter screen from HD. I have enough left to fit in my Corolla.

How will you attach it? The zip ties look kinda ugly.
