Someone in my neighborhood is selling 02 beetle steel rims with good Nokian Hakkapeliitta Q tires (195/65/15). The bolt pattern and backspacing are compatible, but the center bore in the vw rims is larger (57.1 as opposed to 54.1). No one seems to carry ring adapters in this size. the local tire store told me it you don't need them on steel wheels. What do you think? I could use some good cheap winter tires.
