Guest triggers auto repair
i have a1997 toyota corolla that i am working on and it has this terrible vibration at a idle when cold and at slow speed driving .
it s a 1.8 auto with 99900. miles
i just tuned it up and new timing belt plus a F Filter. After i got it running i went to invesigate the vibration the the customer was so worried about and i found that
although the front engine mount is not torn it might be worn out. I am not sure at this point but i am going to order one from yota monday.
It seems if you lift up on the mount while the engine is running and unload the mount the vibration stops all together.
has any body seen this and had success?
