Yeah, plus the current tank of gas I am on which is still going. I have 170.8 miles on the tank and last filled up on 12/03/06.

So 13,207.1 miles (895 days of recorded driving) + 170.8 miles (current tank, 12/03/06 to 12/20/06 and still going) = 13,377.9 miles through.

895 days + 17 (the difference between 12/03/06 to 12/20/06) or 912 days.

To be more accurate on the calculation:

(160,000 miles - 143,522 miles) / (13,377.9 miles / 912 days) = approximately 1,123 days or 3 years and 27 days.

My Odometer reading is 143,522 miles (just went outside and checked) so that means I've been driving the car since it had an odometer reading of 130,144 miles on it. Therefore, my dad put 130,144 miles on the car from 1993 to 2004 before he gave it to me, and I have put 13,377.9 miles on the car from when he gave it to me in 2004 to today.

Wow, 160k miles! It seems like a generation away for me. I bought my 98' Corolla at 50,800 miles back in May 05'. It's up to about 62,400 now. In 20 months, I've put on 11,600 miles.

Calculations:

Average miles per year: 6,960
Average miles per week: 133.5
Average miles per day: 19
Tank Capacity: 11.3 Gallons
Estimated average MPG: 29.5
Best Average Calculated: 32.2
Driving Conditions: 50% stopless driving, 50% stop-and-go
Bad Driving habit(s): Fast acceleration
Miles on full Tank: 333.35
Time per fill-up: once every 17 days (estimate)

At my current stats, it would take me little over 14 years to hit 160k, around the end of 2020. To hit 300k would require me about 34 years and 1.5 months, or around February of 2041. I'll be a 54 year old man by then (I'm 20 now). I hope I'll be able to hover convert my car by then and add Mr. fusion to the engine.

As for whether 160k is a good milestone, I don't know. I always thought that 100k was "the big moment", when a car passes its prime, but what do I know! It seems like everyone is driving these Corollas to their last breathe. I know of a 1988 Honda Civic in my old neighborhood that has 360k miles on it! The guy had to get a new engine for it at 280k. I suppose there is no real limit to any car's lifespan since parts can always be replaced, but rather there is a point at which the driver says it's no longer worth it to spend any more money to maintain their car. The point at which you need an engine swap is usually the killer for even the most reliable cars.

well hmm when you are on someone elses computer that is a laptop and you are used to a desktop, typing is a little different, plus it was almost 3am, and i had to do 170 miles in one night because my part time business that i do for extra money is running parts all over my state. I make money for driving around. hmm what else could i have been doing to spend my time. sitting on a computer making 50 post in an hour? sorry to get rude bikeman, but that was kinda of a rude comment to make

I am 50 miles from hitting 190,000 miles. I should be in the 200K miles in 2007. I am definitely going to stop and take a picture when the odometer hits 200,000.

I'd make sure that the timing belt has been changed since 120K.

Had a Camry that I took to 246K before I gave it up before it became a problem. After 200k the only repairs I needed to make were new CV joints from my driving style, and as far as age goes, a new radiator and had the connecting point between the tank and the and fill point rust out (that was an interesting gas station visit).
