Just Turned 160,000 Miles is that a good milestone?

I have the 1.8L 7A-FE engine in the 7th generation beauty.
I purchased it from e-Bay about 1 year ago and it had 140,000 miles on it.
I have replaced the tires, hubcaps, mirrors, door handles, and corner lights.
It has always started and drives great. I do check the oil frequently and add a quart about every 1,000 miles.
It is very dependable and is my daily commuter.
Here's a picture of it;

It would take me approximately 3 years and 29 days to reach 160,000 miles given my current average miles per day.
;)
(160,000 miles - 143,400 miles) / (13,207.1 miles / 895 days) = Approximately 1,125 days or 3 years 29 days

I think Corollas have a pretty reliable engine.
I have seen one at the junkyard that had a hole in the block.
It was totally broken through and must have been caused by a broken connecting rod or clamp for the connecting rod that broke.
I don't know what may have been the cause of that, except maybe bolt loosened up, or overreving to the point of breakage.
I think the majority of failed engines are caused by poor lubrication (oil).
A normal engine can probably last 300K+ miles.

So you did 13,207.1 miles in one year?
That means you do about 36 miles a day?

No, your missing the quantity in the equation: (13,207.1 miles / 895 days).
13,207.1 miles in 895 days, or about 14.8 miles per day.
